Routledge to Aston Villa

Wayne Routledge looks to be on the brink of a move to Aston Villa as he has become continually disillusioned at Tottenham. The winger is desperate for a move away, and Villa have given him the opportunity.

Routledge revealed earlier this month he was desperate to leave White Hart Lane after failing to establish himself in North London.

The former Crystal Palace player has started only three games since his arrival at Tottenham three years ago and is keen to leave to kick-start his career.

Routledge is set to sign a three year contract at the Villains.
