Liverpool consider move for Thomas Foket

Liverpool are contemplating a move for Belgium international midfielder Thomas Foket. The versatile 22-year-old currently plays in his homeland for Gent.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has apparently targeted the Belgian as a replacement for Lucas, who has been linked with a move to Italy at the end of the current campaign. Foket is seen as a perfect replacement for him and is comfortable playing in defence or midfield.

The player has also caught the eye of numerous other European sides, with Spanish duo Villarreal and Valencia both interested in Foket.
