Ronald Koeman rubbishes Barca link
Everton boss Ronald Koeman has insisted that there is no truth to the speculation linking him with the Barcelona job next season.
The Dutchman has gained a reputation for himself through his spells at Southampton and Everton, and this has recently associated him with the Catalan post.
Barca manager Luis Enrique is yet to earn an extension beyond the summer, and Koeman's former representative Guido Albers claimed that the Dutchman could be offered the head coach role at Camp Nou.
However, during his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Koeman revealed that there is no substance to Alber's comments.
"He is not my manager anymore," he said. "[There is] nothing, nothing, nothing. I will always be related to Barcelona - it happened in the past and it will happen in the future."
Koeman's side have won their four of their last five league outings, and are currently in a position to give a good shot for the Champions League places.
