Michael Carrick open to China challenge?
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is open to the possibility of joining the Chinese Super League in the summer.
The former England international has been linked with a whole host of Chinese clubs alongside fellow teammate Wayne Rooney.
Carrick, who is approaching the final months of his United contract, admits that he would like to retire at the top of his game, but does not discount a potential move to the Far East,
"I have always wanted to go out at the top, I have felt like that for quite some time now. I want to go out on my terms."
"China? It is one of those questions that is popping up in everyone's minds at the moment, but who knows? It's a tough question. It depends on what the options are and what's right for the family and kids."
Carrick will be rewarded with a testimonial this summer after having served nearly 11 years for the club, he joined from Tottenham Hotspur.
