Mascherano seals move

After months of speculation it appears that Argentinian midfielder Javier Mascherano has completed his full time move to Liverpool on an £18 million transfer.

Mascherano has been on loan at the Merseyside club for just over a year now and has impressed the Liverpool faithful as well as manager Rafa Benitez.

The 23-year old has made over 20 appearances for the club although he is yet to score. He is currently keeping both Xabi Alonso and Lucas Leiva out of the Liverpool team.
