Romelu Lukaku reveals real reason for snubbing Everton contract

Belgian international Romelu Lukaku has revealed that he will seek a move away from Everton this summer due to the club's lack of ambition to attain silverware.
The Belgian international, who became the Toffees' all-time Premier League scorer after surpassing Duncan Ferguson's record, has recently turned down a fresh five-year contract at Goodison.
Lukaku was earlier predicted to be '99.9' percent sure of extending his terms on a long-term deal, but it appears that his desire to win trophies has urged to think over his position.
In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, the Belgian cited his frustration at the lack of progress at the Merseyside outfit and insisted that no one remembers a player by his 'goalscoring abilities'.
He also gave an example of compatriot Vincent Kompany at Manchester City, who has gone on to lift plenty of silverware since his switch from Hamburg many seasons ago.
Lukaku, currently contracted until 2019, has no thoughts of penning a new extension despite being offered wages in excess of £130,000-a-wee to make him the club's highest earner.
