Ross Barkley on Chelsea radar
Chelsea are reported to be eyeing a summer move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley. The England international has a contract at Merseyside until June 2018.
Barkley, 23, is said to be attracting interest from a host of London clubs including Tottenham Hotspur with the Toffees yet to open discussions over a new contract.
The Three Lions playmaker had initially struggled to prove his credentials under manager Ronald Koeman, which led him to being benched for a couple of games.
However, he has transformed himself since the festive period, and he is now regarded as one of the key players, who could move the club forward in years to come.
According to The Mirror, the west London giants are lining up a move for the highly-rated midfielder, who is currently valued at around £35m.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte had seen his club make a massive profit from the £60m sale of Oscar to Shanghai SIPG earlier in January, and he is prepared to utilise the cash to lodge an attempt for Barkley.
Apart from Barkley, Romelu Lukaku is also being linked with a potential £65m move back to his former club.
