Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson is reportedly the subject of interest from the top six clubs from the Premier League.
The 24-year-old earned his first senior call-up with England earlier last week and this has heightened interest among the elite clubs in the top flight.
According to The Mirror, the likes of Chelsea. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on the central defender ahead of Boro's potential return to the Championship.
Boro, are for now, hopeful of keeping hold of their academy graduate, but they will be tempted to sell if they are to lose their Premier league status at the end of the campaign.
The Riverside outfit have failed to secure a single victory in the last 11 league outings, and this has seen them drop into the bottom three, five points adrift of seventeenth-placed Swansea City with a game in hand.
Gibson has been ever-present for Middlesbrough, who are the lowest goal-scorers across all four divisions in the Football League.
