Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is considering a renewed bid for Wigan Athletic striker Omar Bogle at the end of the season. The Cherries will reportedly make an approach for the striker that has previously trialled for Bournemouth back in 2013.

Impressive performances for Wigan since he joined the Championship side in the January transfer window have caught the eye of Bournemouth coach Eddie Howe and the 24-year-old could now be set for a surprise move to the Premier League. Bogle's story is an exciting one, with the 6 foot 3 striker having come through the lower leagues at Hinckley United and Solihull Moors before making a move to Grimsby Town. The striker has been in excellent goalscoring form throughout his career.

Bournemouth are on the look out for attacking options for next season despite having not yet secured their top flight status for the 2017-18 campaign. Bogle is the preferred number 1 target for the Cherries and Wigan Athletic could yet double their money for the player.
