Costa to turn down Chelsea, Arsenal for Monaco move
Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Helder Costa could reportedly turn down advances from Chelsea and Arsenal for a switch to former club AS Monaco.
The Portuguese attacker joined the Championship outfit from Benfica on a temporary basis last summer before the move was made permanent for a record £13m sum in January.
Costa has provided 10 goals and eight assists in the second division this season, and his showing in recent months have helped the Wolves move clear of the relegation pack.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been keeping tabs on the Angolan-born ace since his standout performance against Liverpool in the FA Cup, but according to The Sunday People, Monaco are lining up a permanent move for the forward.
The Principality outfit are on course to lift their first French title since the millennium, and this could be followed with yet another investment on developing prospects.
Costa spent a solitary season on loan with Monaco between 2015 and 2016, and he could favour a return to Stade Louis II ahead of London where playing time would be hard to come by.
The attacker currently has a £20m release clause written into his contract which is likely to be triggered during this summer's transfer window.
