Harry Redknapp confirms John Terry interest

Birmingham City boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he has approached to sign former Chelsea defender John Terry this summer.
The former England international is looking for a fresh challenge elsewhere following his 22-year stint with the Premier League holders.
Bournemouth and Crystal Palace have been previously credited with moves for the 36-year-old, and according to TalkSPORT, Redknapp has confirmed the Blues' pursuit of Terry.
"I'd love to have him at the football club. He's a fantastic captain and great leader," he told TalkSPORT. "We've made him a good offer and we have done the best we can. It's up to John now, but we would love him at Birmingham."
Terry has also received plenty of offers from the Chinese Super League, but he is eager to end his career in England, where he has bagged plenty of winners' medals with Chelsea.
The central defender lifted his fifth Premier League title with Chelsea last season as he was restricted to a backup role, which urged him to decline a fresh contract.
