Adnan Januzaj to make shock move to Newcastle United?

Newly promoted Newcastle United are reportedly in the market to sign a midfield starlet from bitter rivals Manchester United. Januzaj, who spent last season on loan at Sunderland, has been told that he is free to leave Old Trafford.

After spending a campaign on loan at the Black Cats, Januzaj has returned to United and has told the powers that be that he will seek a transfer away from Old Trafford as soon as possible.

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is known to be a big fan of the Belgium international winger and will pay a reported £7 million to sign the youngster.

Januzaj has failed to impress Man Utd manager Jose Mourinho sufficiently to persuade the Portuguese that he is a long-term option for the future and now looks set to head for the exit door at Old Trafford.

The Belgian winger is also being tracked by French club St Etienne, German side VfB Stuttgart and Spanish team Villarreal.
