France international Blaise Matuidi is mulling over his Paris Saint-Germain future following the recent developments at Parc des Princes.

Matuidi currently has 12 months left on his existing deal, and this appears to have captured the attention of the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United in recent days.

Initially, the midfielder was due to stick with the Ligue 1 giants but the departure of Patrick Kluivert and Olivier Letang, the club's director of football and sporting director respectively, has urged him to assess his options, as per his father.

In an interview on Le Parisien, Matuidi's father Faria highlighted that his son could leave the French capital amid the lack of progress in contract negotiations, he said: "A few weeks ago, Blaise was more interested in staying at PSG. Now the situation is much more mixed. PSG, and in particular their new sporting director [Antero Henrique], have been slow to reveal their intentions. For that reason we're listening attentively to the advances of other clubs."

Matuidi had been linked with a proposed move to Juventus following his Euro 2016 exploits with Les Bleus last summer, and the Old Lady could yet revive their interest amid the uncertainty looming over the future of the 30-year-old.
