Essien: we must keep Drogba

Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien has admitted that he is worried about reports that the club may soon lose star striker Didier Drogba in the face of interest from AC Milan and Barcelona. There have been rumours of a swap deal for Samuel Eto'o for Drogba.

"I would much prefer Eto'o came to Chelsea," Essien joked in the Daily Star.

"People question whether the two of them would be compatible but of course they would be.

"And they would form such a dangerous partnership that having them both there, Barcelona would be unstoppable."
