Zlatan Ibrahimovic eyeing United comeback against Arsenal

Ibrahimovic wants to face Arsenal this December

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could reportedly return to first-team action when his side take on rivals Arsenal in the Premier League on December 2.

The 36-year-old has not played a competitive game for the Red Devils since April when he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligaments in his left knee.

Despite this, the big Swede was handed a new contract in August after he showed positive signs of recovery from the nasty knee problem.

According to The Mirror, the veteran is due back in training next month and he has set his sights on facing the Gunners in early December.

Romelu Lukaku has been struggling with a minor ankle injury of late, and it is suggested that Mourinho wants Ibrahimovic back to full fitness prior to the packed schedule.

Ibrahimovic missed both games against Arsenal last term with a suspension and injury respectively, and it will be interesting to see whether he makes the bench for the Emirates trip.
