Inter Milan, Liverpool planning David Silva bids?
Inter Milan and Liverpool could reportedly tussle it out for the services of Manchester City midfielder David Silva. The Spain international is currently contracted to the Citizens until June 2019.
According to The Sun, the Reds are looking into a surprise move for Silva next summer with Emre Can yet to show signs of extending his contract.
The Germany international has just eight months left on his Reds deal, and he is leaning towards a Bosman move away from Anfield next season.
Meanwhile, Silva is also said to be seen as an alternative for Adam Lallana, who is currently sidelined with a thigh injury sustained in pre-season.
Luciano Spalletti's side Inter Milan are the other side keeping tabs on the midfielder's situation, and they could make a transfer attempt, should they qualify for next season's Champions League.
Despite the interest, Guardiola remains keen on extending the midfielder's stay by an additional year following his impact in the early part of the 2017/18 campaign.
Silva provided the assist for Manchester City's third goal as they secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.
