Jack Wilshere's future at Arsenal remains in doubt as he quickly approaches the end of his contract at The Emirates. The England midfielder has been offered a new deal by The Gunners, but he is yet to agree to an extension. Now, another Premier League club is preparing to make him an offer, including an £8million sign-on fee.

26-year-old Wilshere has been selected in Gareth Southgate's latest England squad for upcoming friendlies against The Netherlands and Italy, suggesting strongly that he will be part of the Three Lions' team that travels to the World Cup in Russia this summer.

Even his Arsenal career was in doubt twelve months ago, after a string of injuries had seen him loaned out to Bournemouth and raised questions about whether he would pull on the Arsenal shirt again.

This season, Wilshere has slowly worked his way back into Arsene Wenger's plans which has resulted in the North London club offering a new deal to the attacking midfielder.

It is reported, however, that Wilshere would have to take a cut on his £110,000 weekly wage at the club if he signed that new deal, which has left the door open to other clubs.

Whilst Juventus have been linked with a move for him, The Times reports today that Everton are ready to sign Wilshere, luring him in with a large sign-on fee.

The Toffees have struggled this season after making large investments last summer, but it is likely that we will see another new manager and a string of new signings in the blue half of Merseyside this summer as they attempt to break into the Premier League top six.
