Lautaro Martinez to join Inter Milan

Argentinian forward Lautaro Martinez is on the verge of joining Inter Milan in the summer. The 20-year-old forward currently plays in his homeland for Racing Club and has caught the eye of numerous top European sides after a series of impressive displays domestically.

It is understood that Martinez will arrive at Inter Milan for a fee of around 15 million euros and shall sign a five year contract at the San Siro side. Inter Milan have beaten several Spanish clubs to the forward's signature and the player is admittedly delighted to agree a move.

"Everything is almost set," he told reporters this week. "There are some final details to be worked out but when I come back to Argentina there will be a meeting with my agent and everything will be settled.

"I keep repeating though that right now my only thought is about Racing. I want to give 100 percent for this club and help achieve our objectives."

Martinez has also been called up for Argentina's national side.
