Thibaut Courtois in talks with Paris Saint-Germain?

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly kickstarted negotiations with the representative of Thibaut Courtois ahead of a potential move for his services this summer. The Belgian has just 14 months left on his current deal with Chelsea.

According to RMC Sport, the French heavyweights have opened discussions with the player's agent as they seek to prise him away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Courtois has previously cited that he would prepared to stay for the final year of his Blues deal, but the club's hierarchy could take a different stance on the situation based upon whether they can negotiate a new contract.

The Belgian made his comeback from a hamstring issue last weekend, but he could not change his side's fortunes as they settled for a 1-1 draw versus West Ham United.

The west London giants are now pretty much out of the hunt for a top-four finish and they have to rely solely on the FA Cup to secure silverware this campaign.
