Dortmund to discuss permanent move for Batshuayi

Chelsea could be prepared the sanction the sale of Belgium striker Borussia Dortmund to Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

The Belgium international sustained a season-ending ankle injury earlier this month but he has still left a lasting impression on the Dortmund hierarchy.

According to Evening Standard, Dortmund are keen to turn Batshuayi's loan move into a permanent one during the summer, but they could be priced out of a move by the Blues.

Chelsea are said to have placed a £50m price tag on Batshuayi's head and negotiations are likely to continue in the coming weeks in order to sort out the Belgian's future.

Batshuayi joined the German outfit on a short-term loan during the January transfer window, and he has impressed during his time at the Westfalenstadion with nine goal in 14 outings.

His ankle injury is expected to keep him out for the remainder of the campaign, and he faces a race against time in order to make Belgium's World Cup squad.
