Manchester United quote Luke Shaw's transfer valuation
Manchester United are reportedly said to demand at least £28m, if they are to part ways with Luke Shaw at the end of the current campaign.
The England international has fallen out-of-favour under Jose Mourinho this term, and the club are now looking to recoup the entire sum paid to Southampton nearly four years ago.
According to The Sun, the likes of Tottenham and Barcelona are said to be interested in the former Southampton graduate, and United are optimistic that they can recoup his previous transfer fee.
Shaw has played second fiddle to Ashley Young at left-back for most of the season, and this has dented his prospects of representing England at the summer World Cup.
He could, however, make a rare start for United tonight with Mourinho likely to make multiple changes to his squad after a dismal performance against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
Shaw previously represented United in the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Brighton & Hove Albion last month, where he was hauled off at half-time for not obeying to the manager's tactics.
