Jose Mourinho rules out summer De Gea exit
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has stressed that there is 'no chance' of David de Gea leaving Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
The Spain international is approaching the final year of his United contract, though the club have the option to extend his deal until June 2020.
Recent reports have suggested that Real Madrid could retain their long-term interest in the 27-year-old but Mourinho has now ruled out the player's prospect of leaving the club.
Speaking ahead of the Arsenal game, Mourinho iterated De Gea's importance to United and insisted that there is no chance of them sanctioning his sale during the summer.
De Gea has been a consistent performer for United over the years and he is currently leading the Golden Glove race with 17 clean sheets in 34 appearances.
The Spaniard is expected to feature for Manchester United on Sunday when they entertain Arsenal in a hugely-anticipated Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
