Eduardo leaves hospital
Eduardo has reportedly left hospital. The Arsenal striker sustained a career threatening injury in the 2-2 draw with Birmingham at the weekend and has undergone surgery to repair his ankle.
There are suggestions that Eduardo could return to action in as little as nine months time for the Gunners.
The tackle, caused by Birmingham defender Martin Taylor, was widely criticised and Arsene Wenger called on the player to be banned from football - but later retracted his comments.
Eduardo will miss the Euro 2008 tournament where he was predicted to make a huge impact for Croatia.
