Cardiff City favourites to sign Didier Ndong
Premier League newcomers Cardiff City are leading the race to sign sign Didier Ndong from Sunderland, who will be plying their trade in League One next season.
Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock has set his sights on pursuing six new players for the summer transfer window and Gabonese outlet Isport has claimed that Ndong could be one of those joining the club.
The midfielder is said to have no intention of returning to the Black Cats after their drop into League One and this has made Cardiff as the favourites to acquire his signature.
French giants Lyon are also keen on recruiting the Gabon international but the 23-year-old is not in preference of making a return to the French top tier.
Ndong, who has been capped 18 times by his national side, failed to make a single appearance for Premier League side Watford during his short-term loan stint last term.
