Kamil Glik to be fit for the World Cup

Glik all set to fly with the team to Russia

Injured Polish defender Kamil Glik is convinced that he'll be fit for the World Cup as AS Monaco doctors in France have given him the "green light" with the final clearance from the national team doctor pending.

Glik, a backbone of the Poland back-four injured his shoulder in a training session in Poland, last Monday. Officials suggested that his World Cup dream is all but over and he won't be taking any further part with the national team but the doctors from France wanted to have a thorough look before anyone could come to a decision.

He was examined in Nice on Monday and he said, "I believe, I have the green light" to play. He is very much determined to join the team and also added that the final decision will come on Tuesday from the national team doctor.

Kamil Glik posted a video on his official Facebook page, where he is seen exercising his left shoulder with a therapist.
