Arsenal receive boost in Steven NZonzi pursuit?

N'Zonzi set for Emery reunion?

Arsenal have reportedly received a significant boost in signing Steven N'Zonzi from Sevilla. The 29-year-old is currently at the summer World Cup with France but he has recently indicated his desire to leave the Andalusian outfit.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Gunners boss Unai Emery could reunite with the Sevilla man, who is said to be eyeing a bigger challenge elsewhere.

It is added that Spanish outfit have identified Real Madrid's Marcos Llorente as a suitable replacement and they are prepared to part ways with N'Zonzi, if his £35m release clause is triggered.

Nevertheless, Emery is unlikely to have an easy route to the Frenchman with the Gunners transfer budget  for the summer forbidding him from spending freely.

The Spaniard has been allotted with a pre-sales budget of just £50m for the transfer window and he may have to offload a couple of players before pushing through a move for N'Zonzi.
