Jack Wilshere on cusp of Fenerbahce move
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere looks set to agree a deal to move to Turkish side Fenerbahce. The England international is currently in discussions with Fenerbahce regarding a potential four year deal.
Having decided to leave Arsenal at the end of his last contract on July 1st, Wilshere travelled to Turkey to discuss a potential move to Fenerbahce on a free transfer.
Talks with the midfielder have gone very well and it is understood that Wilshere has already been house hunting in anticipation of the deal going through without a hitch.
Wilshere decided against extending his deal with the Gunners in favour of regular first-team football elsewhere and looks to be a key part of newly appointed director of football at Fener, Damien Comolli's plans for the new season.
Wilshere has opted to choose a move to Turkey instead of a return to Bournemouth, where the player had one season on loan playing for Eddie Howe in the Premier League.
