Arsenal interested in signing Mexican attacker

Arsenal are reportedly said to have revived their long-term interest in Mexican winger Hirving Lozano.

The 22-year-old has been on the Gunners radar over the past year and he has caught the eye of several elite clubs of late after his strong showing at the summer World Cup.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Gunners are prepared to lodge a bid for the former Pachuca graduate after getting to know of the widespead interest in his services.

It is added that the club's representatives have already made initial contact with the player's agent with Unai Emery keen on pursuing a young winger during the current transfer window.

Lozano netted 17 goals during his debut season in Holland with PSV last term and this helped them secure another top-flight title. He has five more years left on his remaining deal with PSV and this should allow them the freedom to negotiate a significant fee for any transfer.
