Maguire reacts to Manchester United transfer link

Manchester United target Harry Maguire has said that he is happy at Leicester City but wants to play at the highest level.

The England international has been linked with a £65m move to Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his squad.

"Leicester have been unbelievable to me and I’m really happy there but I’m also an ambitious player and everyone wants to play at the top," he said, Manchester Evening News reports.

Maguire was one of England's best players at the Mundial, scoring the first goal as the Three Lions defeated Sweden in the quarter-final by two goals to nothing.

United are reportedly looking to sell a central defender to prepare a place for the former Hull City player. Marcos Rojo has been identified as the possible victim.

Maguire featured in all 38 Premier League games for Leicester City last season, scoring two goals and bagging four assists.

He is currently on vacation after his exploits at the World Cup in Russia.
