Chelsea star set for new long-term deal?

Chelsea are prepared to reward Willian with a fresh two-year contract as they seek to fend off any interest from Manchester United.
The Brazil international was linked with both United and Barcelona earlier in the summer but ultimately, he has stayed put with the Blues after the Premier League transfer deadline.
According to The Sun, the Blues are now prepared to break their strict wage policy as they plan to offer Willian with a two-year contract on a significant wage rise.
The FA Cup holders have usually handed one-year deals to players aged above 30 but they are willing to make an exception for Willian, who has transformed into a key performer over the years.
Willian has recently admitted that he wanted to leave the Blues during their tenure under Antonio Conte but the change of management has convinced him to stay put at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea begin their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town and they are now scheduled to face Arsenal in their next league outing on Sunday.
