Manchester United target signs new deal with German side

Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that their midfielder Leon Bailey has signed a new contract that will keep him in Germany until 2023.
The Jamaican has been linked with a move to Manchester United. Chelsea and Liverpool are also reportedly interested.
According to Goal, a statement from the club reads: "Bayer 04 and Leon Bailey have agreed a contract extension: The new deal for the 21-year-old runs to 30 June 2023."
The player has reportedly been eyed by clubs across Europe, with the German club willing to sell for the right price.
Leverkusen signed the midfielder from Genk in January 2017 for €20million. He made 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, scoring 9 goals and bagging six assists.
Bailey is still an upcoming player and could feature for the German national team if he becomes a citizen.
The Red Devils did not actively chase the midfielder during the transfer window, but any positive development from the player in respect to his game will probably make United go after the midfielder in the future.
