Dortmund target Liverpool attacker

Divock Origi news

Liverpool attacker Divock Origi is a target for German side Borussia Dortmund, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Belgian was a target for Wolverhampton Wanderers but a move failed to materialise before the close of the transfer window in the Premier League on August 9.

The Reds value the player at £27million and are willing to stand by the price tag.

A move out of Anfield is expected before the end of this month, but Liverpool's valuation may break down the transfer.

Dortmund have not made an offer for the former Lille man but the German side are desperate to get an attacker with the transfer window gradually coming to a close on August 31st.

He was signed from Lille in the summer of 2014 for £10m. Origi was on loan at VfL Wolfsburg last season, scoring 6 goals and bagging 2 assists in 31 Bundesliga games.

He is currently behind the pecking order at Anfield with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge ahead of him.
