Dalot could feature in United squad versus Watford

Manchester United summer signing Diogo Dalot has hinted that he could be involved in the club's matchday squad for the very first time when they contest Watford on the road this weekend.

The Portuguese footballer joined the Red Devils from Porto during the summer transfer window but he has since not participated for the team after undergoing a knee surgery prior to his move.

Earlier last month, Jose Mourinho said that Dalot could potentially be involved with the first-team following the first international break and the versatile defender has now hinted of the same via Twitter, where he wrote: "Have a good week everybody. Getting ready for Saturday."

Dalot is genuinely regarded as a right-back by trade but the majority of his eight senior appearances for Porto last term came on the left side of the defence.

Based on this, the Portuguese could make the matchday squad versus Watford in Luke Shaw's expense with the Englishman presently on a mandatory one-week break after his head collision on international duty.
