Pogba 'promised' move to Spain

Paul Pogba news

Paul Pogba's agent promised the Frenchman a move to Spain after three years at Manchester United, according to MEN.

Prior to his £89m move to United in 2016, Mino Raiola had told Pogba that he would move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona after three years at the Theatre of Dreams.

According to MEN, Raiola told Pogba: "Three years and then Spain."

Pogba was linked with a move to Barcelona earlier in the summer, but United rejected a cash-plus-player offer from the Catalan side.

Pogba is set to stay at Manchester United beyond the next January transfer window, but could push for a move next summer with Barcelona still interested and monitoring events at Old Trafford.

According to reports Barcelona's Lionel Messi is said to want his side to sign the World Cup winner.

Juventus are also interested in the player and could make an approach at the end of the current season.

Pogba has been playing regularly for United this term, and will be greatly relied on when United face the in-form Watford this coming weekend.
