Spurs boss responds to Harry Kane's fatigue claims
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that he does not plan to rest Harry Kane at any resort despite claims that the striker has ben struggling with fatigue following his World Cup exertions during the summer.
Kane drew blank for the same league game on the bounce as Spurs suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Liverpool over the weekend and there have since been suggestions that the marksman may be struggling with his fitness.
However, speaking to Sky Sports, Pochettino insisted that it would be 'crazy' to consider resting the club's leading frontman and he would certainly feature in the midweek Champions League game versus Inter Milan.
He said: "I think we would be crazy to think different. Yes. I don't know what you expect from me, or what you think my answer should be. I don't care that he wasn't great [on Saturday]."
The north Londoners started the campaign with three-straight wins but they have since dropped off with back-to-back defeats against Watford and Liverpool respectively.
Next up, Spurs have an away trip to Inter in the Champions League and a point should be a minimum, given they have a challenging group which also includes Barcelona and PSV Eindhoven.
