Jorginho reveals why he joined Chelsea
Chelsea midfielder Jorginho has revealed that coach Maurizio Sarri played a big role in him joining the Blues.
The pair worked together for three years during their time at Napoli before they came to Chelsea in the last transfer window.
The Italian also said the greatness of the London club played a role in him making his mind to come to Stamford Bridge.
"I believe Sarri's arrival played a big part on it. And there's also the greatness of Chelsea, such a big club. So these factors helped me making my mind," he said, ESPN reports.
Jorginho was close to a move to Manchester City during the last transfer window, but a lack of agreement between Napoli and the Citizens broke the deal down. The player had agreed to join the reigning Premier League champions.
Since his move to Chelsea, he has played in all six of the Blues' Premier League games. He also played 65 minutes in Chelsea's opening Europa League game against PAOK.
