AC Milan readying winter bid for Chelsea midfielder

AC Milan are reportedly planning a winter attempt to lure Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Premier League heavyweights Chelsea.
The Spain international has been with the Blues for more than four seasons but his future has come under question this term, having made just two appearances to date.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Rossoneri are keeping a close eye on the proceedings and they may seek to pursue him on a cut-price move when the transfer window reopens in January.
Fabregas has just 10 months left on his current contract with the Capital outfit but so far, there has been no indication to suggest that his stay could be extended further.
Gennaro Gattuso's side managed to secure the services of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea on loan with the obligation to buy and their good association may see them favourites to sign Fabregas, should a bidding battle arise.
Fabregas has yet to make an appearance for the Blues in the Premier League this campaign and his only start came during the 2-1 win over Liverpool in midweek in the League Cup third round.
