Alexis Sanchez pushing for Manchester United exit
Chile international Alexis Sanchez is reportedly considering a fresh challenge from Manchester United after struggling to adapt to the club's style of play.
The 29-year-old joined the Red Devils from Arsenal at the turn of the year but things have since not worked out for him with just four goals from 25 appearances across all competitions.
According to The Mail, the Chilean has indicated his agent to seek a fresh move away from Old Trafford after failing to make a notable impact with the Red Devils since sealing his winter move.
However, there remains a stumbling block in terms of his wages and he would have to take a substantial paycut in order to have any chance of joining a new club in the future.
Sanchez is presently said to command a basic salary of around £350,000-a-week in his current contract but adding the clauses together, his wages rise to nearly £500,000 on a weekly basis.
