Mousa Dembele among favourites to leave Tottenham Hotspur
Belgium international Mousa Dembele is among the leading contenders who could part ways with Tottenham Hotspur at the turn of the calendar year.
The midfielder is out of contract at the end of the current season but so far, he has shown a reluctance to pen an extension with the north London giants.
Owing to this, Spurs appear to have made their mind up to offload the Belgian as they seek to freshen their squad up midway through the campaign.
According to The Sun, Spurs are said to be considering the sale of Dembele who is currently attracting strong interest from clubs in the Chinese Super League.
Aside from Dembele, the likes of Victor Wanyama, Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Vincent Janssen find themselves in a similar position and they could as well be offloaded when the transfer window reopens.
Spurs, who have made their best-ever start to a Premier League season, entertain league leaders Manchester City at the Wembley Stadium on Monday night.
