Eric Bailly heading to the Serie A?

Eric Bailly could be offered a route to the Serie A this winter with AC Milan keen on prising away his services from Manchester United. 

The Ivorian has witnessed a tough season with the Red Devils and he has not featured for them since the 3-2 win home win over Newcastle United where he was hauled off in the 19th minute when his side were 2-0 down.

According to ESPN FC, the central defender is now fearful over his future with the Mancunian giants after losing faith of club head coach Jose Mourinho.

It is added that a number of Premier League clubs are monitoring his situation but the Rossoneri have now joined the pursuit of the former Villareal man.

Bailly's present deal with United is scheduled to expire at the end of next season and so far, the club have yet to open up talks regarding a probable extension beyond that.

Manchester United make the trip to Juventus for tonight's Champions League encounter where Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof are widely expected to start at the heart of the defence.
