Arsenal in for West Ham United midfielder?
Arsenal are reportedly seeking to pursue the services of Reece Oxford from West Ham United when the transfer window reopens next month.
Oxford has struggled for gametime with the Hammers over the past 18 months and it appears that he could make way from the club at the turn of the year.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners are keeping tabs on the proceedings of Oxford and they could make an approach when the transfer window reopens in just over a week's time.
The Gunners have largely been hampered in the defensive and forward positions through injuries this term but Emery is still said to be keen on pursuing a new midfielder at the turn of the year.
Oxford made a huge impression against Arsenal in his Premier League debut more than three years where the Hammers picked up a shock opening day triumph at the Emirates Stadium.
He has since, however, not been offered sufficient opportunities in the Hammers team to excel and the same has remained the case this term with him failing to make any matchday squad for the Premier League.
