Wolves favourites to sign in-form Chelsea striker?
Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly leading the race to sign Tammy Abraham on a temporary basis from Chelsea during the second half of the season.
The England international joined Aston Villa on a season-long loan from the Blues at the start of the campaign and he has since picked up form with 16 goals which sees him topping the Championship scoring charts.
According to The Mail, the Wolves are hoping to convince Chelsea into loaning them Abraham for the second half of the season with the striker's loan contract with Aston Villa likely to be terminated.
Nuno's side have generally depended on the services of Raul Jimenez upfront and the manager is seemingly desperate for another competitor, who can enhance the club's prospects of finishing in the top half of the table.
Wolverhampton Wanderers have managed to meet their season expectations up to now and they are currently positioned eighth on the table with 29 points on the board.
