Barcelona change transfer stance on Denis Suarez?
Barcelona may have handed a huge transfer blow for Arsenal this month after vetoing on the decision to sell Denis Suarez during the ongoing transfer window.
A recent report from Sky Italia indicated that the Gunners had made an official bid of around £20m for the Spaniard and they were very optimistic of securing the transfer in the forthcoming weeks.
However, that no longer seems the case with The Mirror claiming that the Blaugrana are now reluctant to lose the midfielder at the halfway stage of the campaign.
Suarez has gone through a difficult season with the Blaugrana this term and he has managed just 17 minutes of league action while being excluded from matchday squads at regular intervals.
Still, the midfielder is contracted to the club until the summer of 2020 and it appears that the Spanish champions are prepared to wait until the end of the current campaign before cashing in on the player's services.
