Chelsea open talks regarding move for Argentine striker

Chelsea have reportedly opened negotiations with the agent on Gonzalo Higuain regarding a short-term loan move from Italian side Juventus.

The Argentine is currently on a two-year loan with AC Milan but reports have recently indicated that they could terminate his temporary deal, given they are finding it difficult to meet his salary package.

Amidst this, he has been linked with a potential switch to the Blues and The Telegraph claims that the striker's brother and agent Nicolas is currently in London trying to broker a deal.

Higuain had been tipped to join the Blues during the summer transfer window but he happened to turn down the advances after the west London side did not make him feel wanted unlike manager Maurizio Sarri.

However, with the turn of the year, the Capital outfit appear intent on signing him this time around and this could eventually lure him to the Premier League after years of speculation linking with top-flight English sides.
