Manchester City eyeing shock move for ex-Southampton star?
Former Southampton midfielder Dusan Tadic has emerged as a surprise summer target for Manchester City amid his form for Ajax during the ongoing campaign.
The Serbia international struggled to find consistency with his performances during his four seasons at Southampton but he has witnessed a change in fortunes with the switch to Amsterdam.
Over of the course of the campaign, Tadic has contributed a combined 32 goals and assists for the Capital outfit and he was the standout player in Ajax's shock 4-1 triumph away at Real Madrid which ousted Los Blancos from the Champions League.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Tadic's performances have caught the attention of the Premier League holders, who have already made contact with his representatives.
Ajax are said to value Tadic at around £26m for the summer, but the asking price could raise, should there be a bidding battle from other elite European sides.
German champions Bayern Munich are deemed to be keeping a close eye on the Serbian's showing, although they have yet to express an interest with his entourage.
