Chong set for loan spell away from United

Manchester United have reportedly begun the search for a temporary club where Tahith Chong could ply his trade during the course of the 2019/20 season.

The teenager is highly-rated from the club's academy but he has yet to secure a regular role with just 15 minutes of action with the first-team.

According to The Sun, the Dutch sensation is likely to spend the forthcoming season away from Old Trafford in order to earn valuable gametime to aid his development.

The report adds that the Red Devils are prepared to loan out their attacker to an overseas club with Ajax among the contenders to make an approach for his services.

Chong recently made a late appearance for United during the Champions League clash at Paris Saint-Germain where the club created history with a stunning comeback.

United managed to progress to the quarter-final stage on the away-goal rule after Marcus Rashford netted the penalty in the 94th minute during the 3-1 win at Parc des Princes.
