Bale to United?

Manchester United have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid which should witness Gareth Bale join the club at the end of the campaign.

The Wales international has been a huge hit during his six years with the Bernabeu giants but he has recently been the subject of heavy criticism from the fans on the playing field.

According to Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda, long-term admirers United have finally struck an agreement with Los Blancos regarding a possible move for Bale at the end of the season.

It is added that the Welshman won't come on the cheap with United likely to part with a club-record sum of around £104m to lure him from the Spanish capital in the summer.

Meanwhile, the reigning European champions are expected to undergo a major squad overhaul during the summer where they are likely to appoint a new head coach to succeed Santiago Solari at the helm.

Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino have been mentioned as probable candidates, though the latter seems to hold the advantage with Los Blancos aiming to lure Harry Kane alongside the Argentine from Spurs.
