Manchester United, Liverpool enter race for Ajax defender
Arsenal are set to face competition for Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico this summer with Manchester United and Liverpool having joined the race to recruit the left-sided defender.
The north London side have been monitoring the Argentine over the course of the current season with Unai Emery determined to strengthen the left side of the backline.
However, according to Don Balon, the Gunners won't have an easy ride in the player's pursuit with United and Liverpool planning to make approaches of their own for the 26-year-old.
Real Madrid have also been linked with the defender in the past but their interest could cease with Zinedine Zidane fancied to reinstate Marcelo in the left-back role after his reappointment earlier this week.
Tagliafico has been with Ajax since the summer of 2017 and he was recently part of the side which shocked and eliminated holders Real Madrid at the round of 16 stage of the Champions League.
