Samuel Umtiti free to leave Barcelona?
Barcelona are reportedly prepared to part ways with Samuel Umtiti in the summer if either Manchester United or Manchester City make a formal approach for the French defender.
The 25-year-old has struggled with knee injury concerns since helping Les Bleus win the World Cup and has started just nine games for the Blaugrana this term.
According to Calciomercato, the Spanish giants are open to offloading the French centre-back, who has featured just twice since the beginning of December.
It is added that United and City are among the prime admirers of the former Lyon man and the Blaugrana are willing to listening to offers, should either club follow up their initial interest.
Barcelona are currently looking into a deal for Ajax youngster Matthijs de Ligt but for this, they are likely to free up funds with the Dutchman likely to cost in upwards of £60m in the summer.
Umtiti recently played through 90 minutes of the league clash against Raye Vallecano but he was an unused substitute for the recent Champions League meeting against ex-club Lyon.
