Ander Herrera states his Manchester United contract demands
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is said to want a hefty wage package of around £200,000-a-week in order to stay put with the club beyond the summer.
The Spain international has just three months remaining on his existing deal with the club and this has spread speculation that he could part ways on a Bosman in the summer.
According to The Mirror, Les Parisiens have already opened talks with the Spaniard over a free transfer and they are prepared to match his demands for a £200,000-a-week deal.
At the moment, United have placed a £130,000-a-week contract on the table for the midfielder to sign and they are said to be reluctant to come close to Herrera's contract requirements.
Herrera has been with the Red Devils for the past four and a half seasons and during his period, he has racked nearly 200 appearances for the club across all competitions. He recently featured for them in the 2-1 league triumph over Watford.
